2009....

AUG/SEPT. Chris's work will be featured in Country Living magazine and Gardeners World magazine!

Chris hopes to spend the summer finishing his new print room where he will explore his allotment series further through

different mediums, starting with Lino cut prints.

JULY. Chris has been challenged by The Christie hospital to document the building of their show garden at Tatton flower

show in July. This is the new garden proposed for the new radio therapy centre at the Royal Oldham hospital near where

Chris lives. Chris will be at the show to talk to people about his work and about the appeal for Mens Cancers.

JULY. The Manchester Evening News are running a special feature about Chris and his new arrival, Drew, for Fathers Day

JULY. Chris talks to KITCHEN GARDEN magazine for a feature to be published in Aug 2009.

JUNE. Chris makes time to get in the sudio and start a new series of allotment paintings, as well as working on his plot!

FEB 09. Chris becomes a father for the first time to a baby boy, Drew Stanley.

2008.

NOV 1st - Well! Its been a busy year to say the least. I have been painting some new allotment pictures. I have also been on

a Lino Printing course and a few other workshops about printing. I want to produce some new works in these mediums soon.

I have extended my studio especily for this reason as it has been somthing ive always wanted to try! So keep watching.

Oct 23rd - Gardeners World have been in touch again, they have invited me down to London to film for the last show for 2008.

There will be a Christmas party on Joe Swift's allotment!

June 23rd - Just recovered from the live show in B-ham. The painting I did for Joe Swift was auctioned for Children in need

and raised £1100. The painting will soon be available in print, so keep checking the sales page for updates. Further donations

will be given to the same charity from the sales of this LTD Edition Print.

JUNE..6th - Only a few days left now till the show. The BBC have now commisioned me to create a painting of Joe's plot

at the Live show. This will be tellivised all weekend and the finished painting will be auctioned off for charity! So keep watching!

APRIL 21st - Last week was covered in snow and I was worried about my potatoes, and yesterday I was baked in sunshine

as I worked on the plot!

APRIL 4th..Chris books a stand at BBC Gardeners World Live at the NEC, Birmingham.

MARCH 29th & 30th.. Chris will be opening his studio to the public to view for an annual open studios exhibition 'Art March'

MARCH 7th...The BBC have finished the second part of the filming on Bobs plot, and we were lucky to get dry weather this time.

FEB 27th...Been busy this week! I've been digging the soil over on Bobs Plot, getting it ready for planting out in March.

Plus the BBC team have been to film the first part of the program in my studio! They will be visiting again soon to film on my

allotment.

FEB 20th 2008....BBC Gardeners World will be coming to my studio to film my paintings for a special program they are making

just on allotments! The program is scheduled to air in May

JAN 08... 'I wish it would stop raining so I can do some digging' !

MAY 2007...The Plot Thickens!

OCT 2006.. First Exhibition of allotment paintings. 'The Good Life' at the Millyard Gallery, Uppermill, Saddleworth. Oct - Nov.
